Strength of Materials Laboratories The experimental work involved in this laboratory should make the student understand the fundamental modes of loading of the structures and also make measurements of loads, displacements and strains. Relating these quantities, the student should be able to obtain the strength of the material and stiffness properties of structural elements. Compiler Design Lab

To provide a student with an understanding of the fundamental principles in compiler design and to provide the skills needed for building compilers for various situations that one may encounter in a career in Computer Science. To train students to develop programs in different parsers, optimization etc., It also covers programming in various tools like LEX and YACC for scanning and parsing etc.

Case Tools Lab

The student will gain knowledge in the concepts of the .NET framework as a whole and the technologies that constitute the framework. The student will gain programming skills in C# both in basic and advanced levels. By building sample applications, the student will get experience and be ready for large-scale projects.

Engineering Practice Laboratory

The experiments in this lab is designed to impart the knowledge of different engineering concepts, methodology of finishing simple job and all other essential factors to create an awareness of various simple work. The students of all branches of Engineering will learn about concept of workmanship and supervision

Electronic Devices & Circuits Laboratory

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical on analog electronics circuits including practical on diodes, transistors, FET, and digital electronic circuits.

Digital Electronics Laboratory

The lab is used for practical works related to Digital Circuits & Systems.In This Lab Student study about different types of logic gates, Flip-Flop, Latches, registers, multiplexers and Decoder etc.

Communication Systems Laboratory

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical pertaining to communication systems including study of modulation and de-modulation techniques, transmitters and receivers, analog and digital communication methodologies etc.

Linear Integrated Circuits Laboratory

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical pertaining to the study of linear integrated circuits including op-amps, regulators and other linear ICs.

Optical Fiber & Microwave Laboratory

This lab is used by the students to conduct practical pertaining to the study of optical fiber communication using state of the art kits. Equipment like function generators, Oscilloscopes, Triple power supplies are available for ready use of the students. Microwave lab deals with different microwave components .In this lab student get knowledge about good microwave bench in the field of microwave engineering.

Digital Signal Processing Laboratory

This lab has been setup to conduct practical work for the subject Digital signal Processing and simulations.

Microprocessor & Microcontroller Laboratory

This lab deals with programming of microprocessor over simulator kits. This lab has 8085,8086 microprocessor kits and 8051 microcontroller kits which are to be programmed by the students.

VLSI Laboratory

VLSI is related to silicon chip/integrated circuits and the lab has two instrument one is FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)and the other is CPLD(Complex Programmable Logic Devices).Both generally used for field work so that any VHDL code can be downloaded into these programmable devices and then these can be used as hardware devices and the code can be validated by confirming the proper functioning of that hardware .Both the FPGA and CPLD basically differ in the way how the code is being downloaded into these devices. This lab is also used in VLSI design course for the student of M-Tech VLSI design.

Electrical Machines Lab

Electrical machines laboratory has two Eyes namely - AC and DC machines encompassing all types of latest AC and DC machines, generators and motors with loading arrangement, Transformers and various starters, variac, load banks also form part of the equipments.

Controls System Lab

Control system dominates the modern way of life. This lab helps the students to know the wide applications in, aircraft control, and process industries. It is fully equipped with modern control equipments like control trainer kits with computer interface, P/PI,PID controllers, , DSO , CRO, Function generator ,closed loop control, AC &DC Servomotor, they can also simulate the linear and nonlinear systems using MATLAB with computers.

Power Electronics Lab

Power Electronics helps the students to study the power Semi conductor devices and its applications in rectifier, inverter, chopper and resonant converter, to learn the PWM Techniques for both UPS and AC Drive applications. This lab is fully equipped with all types of modules like SCR Firing circuit module, SCR based half and fully controlled converter kit, IGBT based three phase PWM inverter module, chopper module’s based V/I commuted chopper module with firing module., CRO, Isolation Transformer, single phase Auto Transformer Meters, Mosfet Based step Up and Step Down Choppers module.

Electrical Measurement Lab

This lab is to fortify the students with an adequate work experience in the measurement of different quantities and also helps to expertise in handling the instruments. This lab is fully equipped with measurements kits like AC Bridges, DC Bridges, Instrumentation Amplifiers, Energy meter, Autotransformer, Current Transformer, CRO, Regulated power supply.

Linear and Digital Integrated circuits Lab

LDIC lab provides the basic design of Electronic circuits using linear and digital integrated circuits and their applications in processing of analog and digital signals. It also helps the students to learn the basic methods for the design of digital and analog circuits. It also provide the fundamental concepts used in the design of digital and analog systems.

Power System Simulation Lab

It enables to acquire the software development skills and experience in the usage of standard packages necessary for analysis and simulation of power system required for planning operation and control. Computers equipped with 2GB RAM, 1GHz processor, installed with AU power lab and MATLAB/Simulink.

Electrical Circuits Lab

To provide exposure to the students with hands on experience on various basic engineering practices in Electrical and Electronics Engineering like Digital electronics, Electrical components and basic measuring are taught

The experiments in this laboratory are designed such that the student can be able to do various basic operations that can be done on various machines such as Lathe Machine, Drilling Machine, and Milling Machine

Production Technology Laboratory

This course aims to impart the knowledge about various manufacturing processes. It deals with metal casting, metal forming and metal joining processes. After this course, a student will have a good exposure about the manufacturing processes and various operations and machinery. This also gives the recent trends in these processes also.

Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machinery Laboratory

Student should be able to verify the principles studied in theory by conducting the experiments flow measuring devices in pipes and open channels.

Thermal Engineering Laboratory– I

This course is aimed at imparting the knowledge of Thermal Engineering such as operation of engines, parameters affecting the engine performance and concepts of fuels and combustion.

Metrology and Instrumentation Laboratory

Students will be imparted the knowledge about standards of measurement, principles of calibration and the necessity of using geometrical relations to find out the different measurements of different parameters

Heat Transfer Laboratory

This laboratory basically introduces the concepts of heat and mass transfer to the students with practical exposure.
