A Bird's Eye view Of The Diocese of Guntur Society
Ever since the erection of Guntur Diocese in 1940 the indigenous bishops and clergy along with the religious and lay workers took upon their shoulders the responsibility to develop the Diocese in all respects. They manifested ardent zeal in evangelizing the people by erecting new parishes, starting a large number of schools in the villages and many other types of institutions to serve the poor. As a result of their unflinching loyalty, ardent missionary zeal and selfless service the Diocese of Guntur has developed to the present extent.
