An enthusiastic and passionate educator having 24 years of rich teaching, research & administrative experience in Academic Institutions. and worked as Principal, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department; Dean, Students’ Welfare; Dean, International Collaboration; Coordinator, TEQIP II Project; Coordinator, Board of Discipline; Proctor; Chairman, Cultural Council; Chairman, Central Purchase Committee; Chairman besides many more. Prof. CK  is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian society of theoretical and applied mechanics, Indian society for Heat and Mass transfer, International Association of Engineers, Hong Kong, The Combustion Institute – Indian Section (CI-IS), and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(KOME), His research interests include; internal combustion engines, alternative fuels with special emphasis on biofuels, decentralized energy systems, renewable energy, waste recycling, and sustainable development.

In addition to teaching at PG and UG levels; Prof. CK has made a significant contribution to R&D in the area of alternative fuels for use in a variety of off-road engines and vehicles. He has published more than 40 research papers in the International Journals of repute and more than 10 Patents in National and International. In addition, he has 10 books/book chapters to his credit. Prof. CK has presented his research work at Universities, research organization, and industries abroad. He has more than 5 overseas professional visits to his credit.
