About the Department:

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is one of the major Departments of Universal College of engineering and technology since its inception in the year 2008. The department is very active in Teaching and research in the areas of Communications and Signal Processing, Microelectronics and VLSI, and Embedded Systems. The Department is equipped with the state of the art Modeling, Computational and Experimental facilities in various fields. Excellence in Teaching, Research and Technology development is the main concern of the Department. It has renowned as well as young and dynamic personalities as faculty and involved in providing Quality Education at both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels. It has a broad UG curriculum and specialized M.Tech. programs in embedded systems and VLSI design. The laboratories are modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology. The department has excellent placement record for the last several years.

The department has well-qualified and experienced faculty who are specialized in the various domains like Embedded systems, VLSI design , Instrumentation , Image processing , digital electronics and communication systems. There are sizable numbers of senior faculty members with over 10 years of experience in the stream. A good number of faculty members contributed to academic development by publishing research papers and journals in various national conferences.
